Overview


The second annual 2015 Conference will be held Saturday, April 18 at the Olympia Resort and Conference Center in Oconomowoc, WI from 9:00 – 4:30. Join us for this one of a kind educational celebration and recognition of the professional interpreter.


CCHI: CE approved 6 instructional hours


WI Court Interpreters: CE approved 6 hours (1.5 credits counting toward ethics)

a) Increase awareness of factors that promote interpreter motivation for job performance


b) Affirm interpreters as human vehicles of vital information as mouth and voice of client


c) Appreciate the pressures and rewards of error-free expectations on the job


d) Examine the inter-related and collaborative core competencies, essential to meet needs of varied stakeholders


e) Have deeper appreciation of best practices to prevent job stress, burn-out, and increase satisfaction and meaningful use
