IITA webinar: How to Succeed as a Freelance Translator: Q&A with Corinne McKay

DescriptionCorinne will answer pertinent questions into insights she provides in her book How to Succeed as a Freelance Translator now in its third edition with over 10,000 copies in print. The Q&A will cover topics such as: business startup, finding clients, setting rates, marketing and translation technology tools. After the prepared portion of the webinar, participants will be able to ask Corinne their own questions. This is a great opportunity to ask one of our industry’s leading experts your burning questions!

Presenter: Corinne McKay is an ATA director and an ATA-certified French>English translator. She specializes in international development, corporate communications, and book translations. She also teaches courses for freelance translators, including "Getting Started as a Freelance Translator" and "Beyond the Basics of Freelancing." She is the author of two books: How to Succeed as a Freelance Translator, for beginning and experienced translators, and Thoughts on Translation, a compilation of entries from her blog Thoughts on Translation. She co-hosts the podcast Speaking of Translation with Eve Bodeux.
